How to Schedule a Facebook Share

You want to share a brand or media outlet’s Facebook status update but you want it to look natural. You also want to optimize that share for when your audience is online. What do you do?

First

Find the post you want to share and click on the “time” hyperlink just below the page’s name on the post.

Second

You will be taken to the direct URL for that post. Copy that URL and head to your own Facebook page.

Third

Paste the copied URL into the status update box and add any custom text you plan to utilize. Then click the dropdown arrow next to the “Publish” button and select “Schedule” from the menu.

Fourth

Choose the date and time you would like the post to go live from the pop-up menu and click “Publish” when you’re done.

Fifth

You’re all set. You’ll now see that you’ve got upcoming scheduled posts queued when looking at your Facebook page’s home view. If you need to edit the post or the schedule, simply click on “See Post” in the highlighted area below.
